Pakistan Railways to buy 55 engines and 700 wagons from American Railways.

ISLAMABAD - (News Desk) - Pakistan Railways Board has given approval for buying 55 engines and 700 wagons from America.

According to details, these items will be used for the transportation of coal to Power Plants. 

Meeting of Pakistan Railways Board was held under the president ship of Chairman Perveen Agha. Other members who attended meeting are former General Manager Ishfaaq Khattak, Secretary Railway Board Aftab Akbar, GM Asaf Ihsaan , Director Marketing Railways Arshad Salam Khattak and other representatives. 

New engines and wagons will be used for transportation of coal to Sahiwal Power Plant in 1st phase.
